Eltham Front Entrance Landscaping

Excavating & Site work

• Site was levelled and existing gardens removed with a 1.5 ton excavator

Rock Work

• Local rock that was on-site were used in the gardens
• A large piece of upright granite was placed at the top of the boardwalk as a feature

Retaining Walls

• Gabion steel baskets filled with Riverstone

Decking & Timber work

• 150mm x 50mm rough sawn cypress boards were used to create boardwalks and landings all the way from front door to the driveway

Paving

• Bluestone stone pavers were used bordered by second-hand red bricks to match existing paving

Garden lighting

• 300mm mat black bollards by Havit were used to provide subtle lighting along the boardwalk

Fire pit

• A fire pit area was created along one section of the boardwalk by shaping a semi circle into the boardwalk and using Mudrock on the high side

Planting

• Drought tolerant ground covers, grasses and small trees were planted throughout
