Excavating & Site Work

• Site was levelled and existing gardens removed with a 3 ton excavator
• Excavator also used to placed retaining rocks along embankment

Retaining Walls

• A corten steel 900mm high curved wall was built to retain the embankment behind the pool

Decking & Timber Work

• 150mm x 50mm rough sawn cypress boards were used to create boardwalks and landings all the way down to the pool

Paving

• Old slate pavers were repaired around the pool surround

Rock Work

• Pink mudstone used for retaining steep embankment

Garden Lighting

• 300mm mat black bollards by Havit were used to provide subtle lighting along the boardwalk

Fire Pit

• A fire pit area was created along one section of the boardwalk by shaping a semi circle into the boardwalk and using Mudrock on the high side

Planting

• Drought tolerant ground covers, grasses and small trees were planted throughout
