Hurstbridge Luxury Pool Landscaping

Excavating & Site Work

• Bobcat and excavator were contracted to shape all gardens and paving areas, place landscaping rocks, drill all holes for deck stumps and import and spread soil

Retaining Walls

• Coldstream landscape rock was used to retain the embankment between the house and the pool

Rock Work

• Coldstream rock was used throughout the garden for retaining and features

Fencing

• A variety of fencing options were used
• Cypress posts and 13mm wire mesh were used around the perimeter to create an un-intrusive look
• Corten steel was used as a feature fence that also provides privacy
• Glass pool fence was used around the deck so as to minimise any feeling of separation from the paved lounge area around the pool

Decking & Timber Work

• 145mm x 45mm dressed cypress was used to create stairs from the front door down to a large entertaining deck and firepit area adjacent to the pool

Paving

• Pool surround was laid using natural slate
• The area is used for sun lounges and bean bags for pool side drinks
• A large rock was placed on the pool beam as a diving platform for the kids

Garden Lighting

• Havit 300mm black bollards were strategically placed throughout the garden to achieve a subtle warm atmosphere during summer evenings and night swims

Fire Pit

• A simple fire pit was added as an after thought and fits in seamlessly between the deck and paving

Planting & Lawn

• Drought tolerant ground covers, grasses and small trees were planted throughout
• Buffalo turf was chosen for the lawn areas
